1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to KPMS Training Simulator ("KPMS," "Platform"), an online healthcare revenue cycle management training simulator operated by Transformation Revenue Cycle Management ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of KPMS, including its training content, simulated patient accounts, exercises, assessments, reporting features, subscriptions, and organizational training services.
By creating an account, accessing the Platform, or purchasing a KPMS product or service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the applicable Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The KPMS Refund & Cancellation Policy is available at: [Refund & Cancellation Policy URL]
The KPMS Privacy Policy is available at: [Privacy Policy URL]
Where required by law, KPMS will obtain affirmative acceptance of the applicable terms before purchase.
Checkout displays the applicable Terms, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and other applicable purchase terms. KPMS records the user's acceptance together with the applicable policy versions and acceptance date.
If you access KPMS through an employer, school, college, or workforce training organization, your use may also be subject to an applicable Organizational or Institutional License Agreement.
If a signed organizational agreement conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls for the applicable organizational provision, subject to law.
2. Nature of the Training Platform
KPMS is a simulation-based educational platform designed to teach healthcare revenue cycle management concepts and workflows.
Training activities may include:
- Patient registration and account review.
- Insurance verification and eligibility exercises.
- Claims processing and follow-up.
- Denial identification and resolution.
- Payment posting and reconciliation.
- Accounts receivable management.
- Documentation and workflow decisions.
- Knowledge assessments and capstone exercises.
KPMS uses fictional patient accounts and simulated healthcare transactions.
The Platform is not an electronic health record, live patient accounting system, clearinghouse, or production billing system.
KPMS does not provide medical, legal, or individualized compliance advice.
Training scenarios are educational examples and must not be relied upon as authoritative instructions for processing actual patient claims without independently verifying current payer rules, coding requirements, laws, and employer procedures.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
Each learner must register or receive access to an individual account.
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information.
- Maintain current contact information.
- Use only accounts they are authorized to access.
- Protect their login credentials.
- Notify KPMS promptly of suspected unauthorized account access.
Accounts are assigned to individual users and may not be shared among multiple learners.
Instructor, organizational administrator, and platform administrator privileges are assigned through authorized administrative processes.
KPMS is primarily intended for adult learners, working professionals, postsecondary students, and authorized workforce training participants.
Minors may use the Platform only when permitted by applicable law and an appropriate institutional arrangement. KPMS is not intended for children under 13.
4. Account Security and Activity Monitoring
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
KPMS may record account activity for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Authentication and sign-in events.
- Training progress and assessment results.
- Administrative actions.
- Role and permission changes.
- License and seat assignments.
- Payment entitlement changes.
- Suspected misuse or security incidents.
These records support training administration, billing accuracy, security, academic integrity, and dispute resolution.
Collection, use, access, and retention of personal information are governed by the KPMS Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Authorized Use and Seat Assignments
KPMS grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Platform during the applicable paid access period, subject to these Terms.
Each purchased organizational training seat may be assigned to one active learner at a time.
Users may not:
- Share login credentials.
- Permit unauthorized individuals to access their accounts.
- Use a single learner account for multiple people.
- Circumvent purchased seat limits.
- Transfer or resell Platform access without authorization.
Organizational seat reassignment is permitted only in accordance with KPMS's published seat-management procedures and applicable organizational agreements.
Reassigning a seat does not automatically extend the organization's license expiration date.
6. Plans, Pricing, and Access Periods
KPMS offers individual, subscription, organizational, institutional, and enterprise training options.
Individual Student Access
Standard price: $149.
One-time purchase.
Access period: 90 calendar days from Activation.
Professional Membership
Standard price: $59 per month.
Recurring monthly subscription.
Continues until canceled.
Employer Training Licenses
Annual organizational licenses.
Standard packages: 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 seats.
Additional seats may be purchased during the license term.
Schools, Colleges, and Workforce Training Programs
Annual institutional training licenses.
Per-student or site-license arrangements, as offered by KPMS.
Enterprise and Custom Training
Pricing, access rights, services, and license periods established through the applicable agreement.
Current prices, access periods, seat quantities, included features, and applicable billing terms will be disclosed before purchase.
The price and terms accepted at checkout or in an applicable signed agreement govern that purchase, subject to applicable law.
KPMS may change prices prospectively but will not retroactively change the price or purchased access period of a completed one-time transaction.
If KPMS raises the price of an active Professional Membership during an existing subscription term, KPMS will provide advance notice before the new price takes effect. The customer may cancel the Professional Membership at the prior price before the new price applies. Cancellation will stop future renewals in accordance with these Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Activation, Expiration, and Renewal
Activation occurs when payment is confirmed and the purchased access is provisioned.
Individual Student Access begins upon Activation and continues for 90 calendar days unless ended earlier in accordance with these Terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, or applicable law.
Organizational licenses begin on the commencement date disclosed at checkout or specified in the applicable agreement.
Additional organizational seats generally inherit the existing license expiration date and do not extend the license term.
An organizational renewal is a separate transaction that extends the applicable license period.
Annual organizational licenses do not automatically renew unless automatic renewal is expressly authorized in the applicable agreement or order form.
Upon expiration, paid training access may become restricted.
Previously earned completion records and certificates are handled according to Sections 12 and 13 and the Privacy Policy.
8. Professional Membership and Automatic Renewal
Professional Membership is a recurring monthly subscription.
Before the customer is charged, KPMS clearly and conspicuously discloses:
- The recurring subscription price.
- Billing frequency.
- The renewal date.
- The renewal terms.
- The cancellation method.
- Applicable refund conditions.
KPMS records the customer's acceptance of the applicable subscription terms and policy versions.
KPMS obtains the customer's affirmative consent to the recurring charge before initiating billing.
After enrollment, KPMS sends the customer an acknowledgment or confirmation containing the subscription terms, cancellation policy, and KPMS contact information.
KPMS provides renewal notices, confirmations, and cancellation information when required by applicable law and the terms disclosed at enrollment. The precise timing and delivery method must match the production billing workflow before this provision is published.
If KPMS makes a material change to the subscription terms, KPMS provides clear notice and cancellation instructions before the change takes effect. The customer may cancel before the changed terms apply.
Customers may cancel future renewals through a clear and conspicuous cancellation link in the account billing controls. Customers may also cancel by emailing info@kpmstraining.com.
Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Access ordinarily continues through the paid-through date.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not automatically generate a refund for the current billing period.
Under Refund & Cancellation Policy Version 2.1, an accidental renewal may qualify for a refund when requested within seven calendar days of the renewal charge and no substantive training activity occurred during the new billing period.
Logging in solely to review billing information, manage the account, or cancel the subscription does not constitute substantive training activity.
KPMS may provide a payment grace period following a failed renewal charge before restricting access.
Subscription cancellation and renewal practices remain subject to applicable law.
9. Payments, Taxes, and Billing Authorization
KPMS uses Stripe or another disclosed payment processor to process applicable transactions.
By completing a purchase, customers authorize the charges presented during checkout, including recurring charges where expressly agreed.
Customers must use a payment method they are authorized to use.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in U.S. dollars.
Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected during checkout as required by law.
KPMS does not require customers to provide complete payment-card information directly to KPMS support.
Payment information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable payment processor requirements.
10. Refunds, Cancellations, and Billing Corrections
The KPMS Refund & Cancellation Policy Version 2.1, available at [Refund & Cancellation Policy URL], as applicable to the purchase, is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Refund Policy governs individual purchases, recurring memberships, employer and institutional licenses, additional-seat purchases, renewals, and billing corrections.
Checkout displays the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy and records the user's acceptance together with the accepted Terms and policy versions.
Key provisions include:
- Individual Student Access: A full refund is available within three calendar days after Activation when the learner has not made Substantial Use.
- Individual Substantial Use: Reaching at least 25% of the purchased program's recorded completion progress, beginning the final capstone assessment, or earning a Certificate of Completion.
- Professional Membership: Customers may cancel future renewals. An accidental renewal refund may be available within seven calendar days if no substantive training activity occurred during the new billing period.
- Initial Organizational Licenses: A refund may be available within 14 calendar days of the applicable license commencement date when organizational Substantial Use has not occurred and other applicable conditions are satisfied.
- Organizational Substantial Use: At least 20% of purchased seats, rounded up to the next whole seat, have become Active Training Seats.
- An Active Training Seat is one assigned to a learner who has begun substantive training activity recorded by the Platform.
- Additional Seats: Eligible unassigned and unused additional seats may qualify for refunds within 14 calendar days of purchase.
- Certificates: Certificate issuance, verification, refund-related treatment, and revocation are governed by Section 13.
- Verified billing errors, unauthorized charges, signed agreements, and non-waivable legal rights may establish additional remedies.
The complete Refund & Cancellation Policy governs eligibility and exceptions. If a summary in these Terms differs from the applicable Refund Policy, the Refund Policy controls the refund-specific provision, subject to law.
Refund requests may be submitted to info@kpmstraining.com.
11. Intellectual Property and Content Restrictions
KPMS and its licensors retain ownership of the Platform and its proprietary educational materials, including:
- Curriculum and instructional materials.
- Simulated patient accounts and data.
- Claims, remittances, and payment scenarios.
- Denial-management exercises.
- Assessments, answer keys, and scoring methods.
- Work queues and capstone scenarios.
- Reports and certificate templates.
- Software, interfaces, and related documentation.
Purchasing access does not transfer ownership of the Platform or its intellectual property.
Except as expressly authorized, users may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or resell KPMS content.
- Share assessment questions, answer keys, or protected simulation materials.
- Record or redistribute training exercises for commercial purposes.
- Scrape or systematically extract Platform content.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to duplicate protected Platform functionality, except where applicable law prohibits such restrictions.
- Use KPMS proprietary content to develop a competing simulator or train a machine-learning model without written authorization.
- Circumvent technical access restrictions.
Learners may retain their own notes, authorized downloads, training summaries, and legitimately issued certificates for personal educational or employment-related purposes.
12. Training Records, Assessments, and Academic Integrity
KPMS records learner progress, assessment activity, simulation performance, and completion information.
Learners agree to complete assessments honestly and not misrepresent another person's work as their own.
Organizations and instructors may access training information within their authorized roles, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Training records may remain available after access expires for legitimate verification, administrative, legal, and recordkeeping purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
A customer-service refund does not automatically erase historical training activity.
KPMS may investigate suspected academic-integrity violations and correct inaccurate completion records through documented administrative procedures.
Certificate treatment, including the effect of refunds or payment disputes on certificate status, is governed by Section 13.
13. Certificates of Completion and Verification
Learners who satisfy the applicable published training requirements may receive a KPMS Certificate of Completion.
A KPMS Certificate of Completion confirms completion of specified KPMS training requirements only.
It is not:
- A government-issued credential.
- A professional license.
- An accredited academic qualification.
- An industry certification issued by an independent credentialing body.
- A guarantee of employment or professional competence.
Certificate Verification
KPMS intends to maintain certificate verification for as long as the applicable verification service and underlying records are maintained, subject to the Privacy Policy, operational availability, retention requirements, and applicable law. KPMS does not impose an automatic 24-month certificate verification expiration and does not guarantee perpetual verification availability.
Certificate Revocation
A legitimately earned certificate will not be automatically revoked solely because of an ordinary customer-service refund, lawful payment dispute, or account termination.
KPMS may revoke a certificate only where documented evidence establishes:
- Fraud.
- An academic-integrity violation.
- An issuance error.
- Failure to satisfy the applicable completion requirements.
KPMS will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond before revocation, except where immediate action is legally required.
14. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
Users agree to use KPMS only for authorized educational and administrative purposes.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Accessing another user's or organization's records without authorization.
- Sharing or selling login credentials.
- Circumventing license or seat limits.
- Interfering with Platform security or availability.
- Uploading malicious software.
- Attempting unauthorized access to restricted administrative functions.
- Falsifying training records or assessment results.
- Uploading real patient information or protected health information.
- Using the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purposes.
KPMS is designed for fictional training data.
Users must not enter real patient names, medical record numbers, insurance identifiers, clinical records, or other identifiable patient information into training exercises.
If real patient information is submitted inadvertently, the user should notify KPMS promptly at info@kpmstraining.com without including additional patient details in the notification.
KPMS may take reasonable steps to restrict, investigate, or remediate prohibited activity.
15. Suspension and Termination
KPMS may suspend or terminate access for documented violations of these Terms, including credential sharing, unauthorized access, serious academic-integrity violations, fraudulent activity, or material nonpayment.
Where appropriate, KPMS will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve a violation before terminating access.
Immediate restriction may be necessary to address security threats, suspected fraud, or legal requirements.
Exercising a lawful payment-dispute right does not, by itself, constitute a violation of these Terms.
Certificate treatment following a refund, payment dispute, suspension, or termination is governed by Section 13.
Refund eligibility following suspension or termination is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Training records are handled according to the Privacy Policy.
16. Platform Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation
KPMS may perform maintenance, introduce new features, modify training scenarios, or update instructional materials.
Although KPMS strives to provide reliable access, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
KPMS may update curriculum content to reflect evolving healthcare revenue cycle practices.
KPMS will not intentionally materially reduce the purchased training program during an active paid access period without addressing the customer's applicable contractual and legal rights.
If KPMS discontinues purchased access early or materially reduces the purchased service for reasons not attributable to the customer's material breach, the remedies described in Section 16 of Refund & Cancellation Policy Version 2.1 apply.
Such remedies may include restoration of service, a substantially equivalent replacement, an appropriate prorated refund, or a mutually accepted alternative arrangement.
17. Educational Disclaimers and No Employment Guarantees
KPMS provides simulation-based education.
Its exercises, scenarios, payer rules, coding examples, reimbursement amounts, and workflows are provided for instructional purposes.
Users must independently verify applicable laws, payer requirements, coding guidance, and employer procedures before applying training concepts to real-world healthcare operations.
KPMS does not guarantee:
- Employment or job placement.
- Interviews or hiring decisions.
- A particular salary or promotion.
- Passing an external certification examination.
- Professional licensure or accreditation.
- Specific employer recognition of a KPMS certificate.
- Particular financial or business results.
The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Any warranty disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not eliminate express contractual commitments or non-waivable consumer rights.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Transformation Revenue Cycle Management and its authorized representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of KPMS.
This includes, where legally permissible, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or losses resulting from reliance on training examples in live healthcare operations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising from the Platform or these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by the claimant for the KPMS product or access period giving rise to the claim.
The limitations in this Section do not apply to gross negligence, willful and wanton conduct, fraud, death or bodily injury, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law, including rights and remedies under the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act.
Nothing in this Section eliminates refund rights or other remedies expressly required by applicable law.
19. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Customers are encouraged to contact KPMS to resolve concerns informally.
For disputes not involving an urgent legal remedy, customers and KPMS agree to make reasonable good-faith efforts to resolve the matter through direct communication.
Nothing in these Terms requires customers to contact KPMS before exercising lawful rights through a bank, card issuer, payment network, regulatory authority, or court where such a requirement would be unlawful.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to applicable law, individual consumers may bring disputes in courts of competent jurisdiction in Georgia. Nothing in these Terms prevents an individual consumer from using a small claims court or another forum where mandatory law so requires.
Organizational licenses will instead include a mandatory Georgia venue in the applicable signed Organizational License Agreement, subject to applicable law.
No mandatory arbitration agreement or class-action waiver is created by these Terms.
20. Changes to These Terms
KPMS may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, business operations, or applicable law.
Each version will identify its version number and effective date.
Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
Unless legally permitted and properly agreed, revised Terms will not retroactively reduce rights associated with completed purchases under earlier applicable terms.
KPMS may retain records of the version and date of a user's acceptance for compliance, billing, and dispute-resolution purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy.

The Company does not authorize customers to submit protected health information and does not offer a business associate agreement for the standard simulator service. Whether a particular relationship creates obligations under HIPAA depends on the actual services and information processed and must be assessed under applicable law.

24. Data Protection for Institutional Customers
When a school, college, workforce training program, or other educational institution licenses KPMS, the institution remains responsible for its own obligations under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA") and applicable state student-data privacy laws.
KPMS processes student training records as directed by the institution under the applicable Institutional License Agreement.
The applicable Institutional License Agreement may establish additional requirements for permitted uses, access controls, disclosures, security measures, retention, deletion, and institutional instructions.
The Privacy Policy describes KPMS's general practices concerning the collection, use, retention, and deletion of personal information and training records.
Institutional customers are responsible for providing required notices, obtaining required consents, and establishing any required policies for their learners and personnel.
25. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, the incorporated Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable signed Organizational or Institutional License Agreement constitute the entire agreement concerning the applicable subject matter, except as otherwise stated in a signed written agreement.
Assignment. KPMS may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, or other business transaction. Customers may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations without KPMS's prior written consent.

Customers may provide notices to KPMS at info@kpmstraining.com or at the mailing address, if any, provided in the applicable purchase or organizational agreement.
No Waiver. A failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, payment obligations, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, records retention, confidentiality, and any accrued rights or obligations.
